Safeguarding
At Todmorden High School, we place the highest possible priority on safeguarding our students, making sure they are protected from harm and require all our volunteers and visitors to share in this commitment.
At Todmorden High School, safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and our staff are trained throughout the year to increase their expert knowledge in spotting the signs and indicators of abuse in all forms and develop professional and trusting relationships with all stakeholders. We promote the benefits of working together with caregivers and external professionals via Early Help to ensure the right support is provided at the right time. We work hard to deliver a curriculum that ensures our students are taught how to keep themselves safe and thrive; making a positive impact on themselves, and the world.
